English as a Second Language ~ ESL
Provides students an opportunity to gain English speaking, reading, and writing skills. Students will learn the meaning of everyday and academic words, learn to pronounce words, learn English grammar and writing skills, learn work ethics, learn American culture, and work on reading comprehension. Successful completion of this course will enable students to live and work in American communities, as well as, prepare them to study for the FED, Adult High School diploma or attend college classes. Grammar skills are offered via tutoring or computer-assisted instruction.
Classes available on campus, off campus and via distance learning.
